When The VET Sector launched as the first newsletter and magazine - combo dedicated to Australia's vocational education and training industry, our mission was simple: to raise awareness, bring attention to the needs and requirements of the sector, and share the voices of those shaping its future. Today, 75 editions later, that mission remains unchanged but has evolved with the times—expanding to cover a broader range of topics, concepts, and issues that matter most to our readers.
A Vision That Grew with Your Support
From day one, we were dedicated to telling the stories that matter—stories about policy changes, emerging trends, and the real-world impacts of vocational education on students, institutions, and industries. Little did we know that our passion would resonate so deeply with you, resulting in an overwhelming outpouring of support.

More Than Just a Newsletter
It wasn’t long before the growing demand from our readers led us to launch three other newsletters and magazines, each tailored to specific aspects of the VET sector. These platforms allowed us to dive even deeper into the issues that matter most, covering a wide range of topics—from policy debates and training innovations to the personal journeys of those who make vocational education possible.
But the evolution didn’t stop there. We soon took our publications to the next level by making them accessible on the world's biggest platform for digital magazines. Now, readers from across the globe can access our magazines at the click of a button. Of course, we also made sure they were available directly on our CAQA (Compliance and Quality Assurance) websites, ensuring seamless access for our community.
