The challenge
An RTO that had received a compliance notice engaged CAQA to manage its rectification response. The provider needed to respond clearly, gather evidence and demonstrate that corrective actions had been implemented.
What we did
CAQA began by analysing each issue in the compliance notice. The work identified the relevant regulatory concern, the evidence gap, the corrective action required and the underlying system weakness that had allowed the issue to arise. CAQA developed a comprehensive rectification plan. The plan addressed each finding, assigned responsibilities, specified evidence requirements, set timeframes and included measures to prevent recurrence. This was important because regulators usually expect providers to do more than correct individual documents. They expect the provider to understand root causes and strengthen systems.
