CAQA has assisted 10+ providers with trainer and assessor compliance frameworks and supported hundreds of trainers and assessors. The work helps organisations bring together relevant credentials, vocational competence, current industry skills and professional-development evidence.
For providers operating across higher education and VET, the framework distinguishes the requirements that apply to each activity. A single template or qualification does not automatically satisfy every role or regulatory framework.

One example within the wider program
In one dual-sector engagement, CAQA reviewed two personnel requirement matrices against eighteen features in its compliance review framework. The review identified fourteen gaps: five critical, six major and three minor. These were CAQA’s review classifications, not findings issued by a regulator.
The findings included gaps in professional-development planning, digital delivery capability, inclusive practice and LLN support, evidence templates, and licence and clearance tracking. They gave the provider specific actions for strengthening its workforce records and oversight.

CAQA provides independent consultancy, review and implementation support. Regulatory decisions are made by the relevant authorities, and each provider remains responsible for its compliance and the evidence it submits.
