The challenge
An Australian university coordinating a Commonwealth-funded international skills program engaged CAQA to design and deliver a specialist session for a visiting delegation of senior master trainers.
What we did
The delegation consisted of fifteen master trainers participating in an Australia Awards study tour. They required an authoritative briefing on the Australian VET system, including regulation, training packages, qualifications, credentialling and quality assurance arrangements. CAQA designed the session as a structured introduction to the national VET architecture. The session explained how the Australian system connects industry needs, training products, registered providers, assessment systems, trainer and assessor requirements, qualifications and regulatory oversight.
